Near the end of
the second class, Jill read, How Many Feet In The Bed? This book teaches children about counting in a fun way. In
class, a teacher can read this book to his or her class. Afterwards the
children can represent how many feet through drawing, making charts showing
their counting work or through addition. Since there are many ways to represent
the answers children should be encouraged to choose their own method to solve
the problem.
